An Overview of ICF Coach Training in Egypt
- The first step is to determine what one seeks from a coaching program, followed by choosing an accredited program by ICF/CCE/EMCC.
- The training program’s choice depends on personal preference and the work line or the kind of clients that one wants to work with.
- ICF credentialing has three levels, which are, Accredited Certified Coach (ACC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and MCC (Master Certified Coach). Each level is different from the other in training hours and coach experience hours.
- Completion of Mentor Coaching is mandatory for ICF accredited coach training.
- One also has to complete coaching experience hours, Coach Knowledge Assessment and Performance Evaluation to establish affluence in coaching competencies.

- Enrollment under an ICF accredited coaching program comprising of coach-specific training, mentoring, and assignments.
- Ensure that the trainer is accredited by ICF, CCE, SHRM, or EMCC for credibility.
- Complete coach training including the training hours, mentoring (10 hours minimum), experience hours, assignments, fieldwork, and evaluation.
- Apply for credentialing after completing coaching experience hours.
Post-certification, you can apply for ICF Credentialing. You have to submit your Coach Knowledge Assessment and coaching audio transcripts for evaluation.
